This time of the year is absolutely beautiful. Cold...but beautiful. Once the holiday lights go up around town you get a sense of cheer. So if you're looking for a little extra fun this year, consider going to one of these places around St. Louis for Holiday Lights.
Of course we had to start out the list here at the Botanical Gardens! This is a holiday staple in St. Louis. When they say "leave it to the pros" they are talking about the folks at Garden Glow. Plus you can check out the family fun area with the kids, watch the train show and even get toasty with some smores!
30 years and counting! Tilles Park is keeping the tradition alive. Enjoy a plethera of lights while riding with your family in the car. Or for an even more magical visit you can take a carraige ride that is hosted on Saturdays. One side note: You may need to bring cash as they don't accept credit cards.

You can go on in and take a self-guided walking tour of the brewery. And it's FREE! If you're looking for something a little more exciting than just walking around some of the grounds, you can surely check out some of their delux packages. One even includes a smore party with the famous Clydesdales!
Talk about neighbors coming together! Chances are if you've come down to Candy Cane Lane, it was with the kids all packed in your car to enjoy lights down this festive neighborhood. Free to drive by, but donations are suggested. The money collected goes straight to charity. Perfect for giving back as well as getting into the holiday spirit.
At the Way of Lights the decorations help tell the Christian story of how Christmas came to be. With a drive through the lights, a choir and even camel rides you and your family are bound to have a great time. Plus you can pick up a beautiful wreath or two to take home.
Santa’s Magical Kingdom is at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Resort near Six Flags. Go through tunnels of lights, see gingerbread houses and of course santa will be there. Making the trip will surely be worth it!
