Carrie Underwood, Big & Rich join New Kids On The Block during Nashville stop

Carrie Underwood and Big & Rich surprised the crowd gathered at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday (May 17th) night for The Total Package tour featuring New Kids On The Block, Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men. Both were guests of NKOTB, a band that Carrie has been a big fan of since childhood. They tapped Carrie to sing a special rendition of "Happy Birthday" to the group's Jordan Knight. While backstage, Carrie reunited with former American Idol judge Paula Abdul. Carrie posted a picture of the two writing, “Well, look who I ran into backstage at #TheTotalPackage Tour! So cool to watch her do her thing!”

The superstar hung around to take in the show, posting video clips of New Kids' performances on social media.

NKOTB also called out Big & Rich to sing their hit "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy" for the 20,000-plus screaming fans.
