Quickies: Carly Rae Jepsen, Twenty One Pilots, Adam Levine and more!

  • CARLY RAE JEPSEN FEATURED ON NEW BLEACHERS TRACK: Carly Rae Jepsen is featured on a new song by Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers, called “Hate That You Know Me.” Jepsen provides backing vocals on the upbeat 80s-inspired track, co-written by Julia Michaels. It’s the latest song to be shared from Bleachers’ upcoming sophomore album, Gone Now. “Hate That You Know Me” follows the album’s lead single, “Don’t Take the Money,” co-written by Lorde and features her backing vocals. Antonoff also co-wrote and co-produced Lorde’s latest single, “Green Light.” Antonoff has also co-written hits for Rachel PlattenSara Bareilles and Taylor Swift, including Taylor’s hit duet with Zayn Malik, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” Gone Now arrives June 2nd.

  • TWENTY ONE PILOTS’ JOSH DUN JOINS HAYLEY WILLIAMS’ HAIR DYE COMPANY: Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun has partnered goodDYEyoung, a hair dye company founded by Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams. “Being friends with Hayley, believing in her vision and how hard she works, too, and me already dyeing my hair, it made so much sense,” Dun says in a video announcing the partnership. “It’s a great product.” Find out more about goodDYEyoung’s vegan and cruelty free products at Twenty One Pilots recently wrapped up their  Emotional Roadshow arena tour. They’ll play a five-show run in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio, dubbed the Tour de Columbus, this June.

  • ADAM LEVINE’S NEW MOVIE THE CLAPPER TO PREMIERE AT TRIBECA: Adam Levine’s currently co-starring in a new romantic comedy titled The Clapper that will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend in New York City. Led by Ed Helms and Amanda Seyfried, the film follows a professional television clapper, who is begrudgingly thrust into the spotlight, which ends up costing him his job as well as a budding relationship with a girl who works at a gas station. Tracy MorganRussell PetersPJ ByrneBrenda VaccaroLeah ReminiAlan Thicke and Mickey Gooch Jr. also co-star along with cameos from Mark Cuban and Rob Gronkowski.
